In the 2nd generation, Sheikh Abdur Islam (Father) industrialized the business — establishing mechanized rice husking plants, milling infrastructure across Punjab and Sindh, and broadening trade into wheat and maize with institutional banking finance.
In 2003, 3rd-generation leader Sheikh Umair Islam (Umair Sultan) founded Asad Rice Corporation, modernizing the supply chain and initiating direct global exports across 25+ nations — today unified under Ameer e Sultan Agro Food (Pvt) Ltd.
